ABOUT LION'S DEN

Founded in April of 2018, THE LION’S DEN is a Functional training studio that allows students to receive detailed explanation and correction of all key movements, allowing them to realize their improvement and increase their motivation. We train collectively in small concise groups with a cap of 8 people/class to ensure all our clients receive focused attention and feedback.

The environment and feel of the studio is of a welcoming community, giving our participants the feeling of a second home. We believe you should love and feel comfortable in your fitness space.

Metcon (Metabolic Conditioning), Tabata, 360 Circuit and Xtamina cardio are the programs we offer. Metcon our main studio program, works all the basic capacities of the body such as flexibility, speed, power, agility, coordination, endurance, strength, balance, accuracy, and cardiovascular fitness.

The Lion’s Den used top of the range ELEIKO equipment. For almost 50 years, Eleiko has taken an active part in the international world of weightlifting, powerlifting, and strength and conditioning.

Group Exercises

Classes

We keep you going and push you to better physically! The Den offers a range of classes to well and truly help you make fitness a way of life. We make sure to keep our class size small to see big results in our clients.

METCON

Also known as Metabolic Conditioning. Improve all basic capacities of the body such as flexibility, speed, power, agility, coordination, endurance, strength, balance, accuracy, cardiovascular. In 60 minutes, this class will help you to lose fat and gain muscle due to the intensity of the exercises and through the varied mix of activities.

XTAMINA

This 45 minutes workout is divided into 3 principles, strength, cardio and plyometric training. The goal of XTAMINA is for everyone to believe they can reach their fitness goals!

TABATA

Tabata is a type of training, which is classified as HIGH INTENSITY INTERVAL TRAINING (HIIT)! HIIT is a form of cardiovascular and neuromuscular exercise and is divided into bodyweight and lifting workouts. In 45 minutes, this class will aid fat loss, muscle gain and provide massive improvements in Cardiovascular Fitness.

CIRCUIT 360

Circuit 360 is a 45 minutes session of circuit training performed using a range of essential functional movements. These include squat, hinge, lunge, rotation, push, pull, walk/run and jump. Circuit workouts will help to improve full body strength and endurance as well as cardiovascular fitness whilst maximizing calorie burn for fat loss.
